The Revolution Builders

History and Experience

Revolution Builders began when Kevin started a roofing business with his co-worker and friend, Merv Reihl. They both had experience in roofing and worked together for the summer doing roofing for Eby Exteriors, Inc. They decided to start their own business as a sub-contractor for Eby Exteriors and also began pursuing some of their own jobs. So, in October of 2006, they launched their business called Clearview Roofing. The first months proved to be testing as Kevin fell and broke three fingers after the business was up and running for only one week. It was a setback, but eventually proved to be fruitful as Kevin was able to focus on building the foundation of the business and take time to do estimating and marketing. The first winter was also difficult as they were forced to not work for almost half of the month of February because of bad weather. But as winter turned to spring, business picked up and by the summer of 2007, they could hardly keep up with all the jobs coming in. Merv moved on from the business in July of 2007 to pursue some other things on his heart and Kevin took over full ownership of the business. Soon after, Kevin met Joel in a café and they began talking about working together since Joel had just left his job and started his own business.

As they talked over the next few weeks, they realized that they had a similar vision for a construction business that focuses on relationships and where the people involved are more than just co-workers, but are involved in each others lives as friends. Joel joined the business in August and the name was changed to Revolution Builders. Kevin and Joel also bought a deck business and Joel started building decks as well as helping with roofing projects and sub-contracting himself to a remodeling company. Revolution Builders, Inc. now has a wide variety of services including roofing, decking, and remodeling. Joel, Kevin, and Kendal have combined experience in remodeling, roofing, decking, siding, replacement windows, painting, trim work, and custom carpentry. They enjoy taking on creative projects and using a variety of talents to help a job be completed.
